Jack's work is concerned with the innovation and questioning of contemporary textiles. The work is an exploration of geometry and how it can be translated into forms that can articulate and move. 3D print is a process used here to build up these textile structures layer by layer. The results are repeat patterns which are not just the decoration on the surface but form the surfaces themselves.

The surface area of the forms shifts depending on the height, breadth and density of the pattern. With the change in these factors comes change in the behaviour of the textiles. Some are easy to bend whilst others prefer to be stretched or twisted. Manipulating each form in the hands gives a visceral reaction of sound and tessellation pattern, influenced by the user’s touch.
